Description: This beautiful piece is from the late Edo Period (1860's) and weighs 1Lb. 9.6 Oz., measures 4.5" in height, Approx. 4" across the mouth and approx. 2.5" across the base/foot. It is in excellent condition, no nicks/dents or dings, and does hold water! Sadly the original owners polished it... hence the price.There "appears" to be a small impressed "mark" on the bottom that my friend (a dealer in Asian antiques for 37 years) could not identify. I need to make this clear "it appears to be a mark" (12th photo) I am not saying it is!! I have taken photos with a variety of lighting (natural, overhead, flash, backlit) to give a better overall idea of the pieces appeal. No REASONABLE Offer Refused!!
