Description: Lovely Antique Ceramic Lidded Pot The transferware design appears to be from the aesthetic movement- with floral design in a sepia-tone black/brown. The pot measures 5" high with the lid and about 4" wide. This is in vintage condition- the lid has a couple of chips and there is chip on the top rim- I took pictures of these.The inside of the pot has some discoloration as seen in the picture. There are some areas that the transferware paint was smudged or errant- I took pictures from all sides. There are no markings on the bottom that I can see. I believe it is from the late 1800's, based on our family history of who owned this.
