Description: A very fine and scarce non-excavated example of a American Revolutionary War period French 93rdth Infantry Officer's button. The French 93rd was heavily engaged at Waterloo, but there is no official record of the 93rd being in America. It is possible however that members of the 93rd were posted with other regiments in America. Button is in beautiful condition with nearly all the original gilded finish intact. This large button measures approximately 25.17mm. See photos for condition details. All buttons are guaranteed to be original and of the period indicated in the description.
