The Alpiner 4 Chronograph is the respected Swiss brand's flagship series within the company's products portfolio. Widely known for producing fine Swiss timepieces which primarily utilize third party Swiss ETA & Sellita movements respectively, the Alpiner 4 Flyback Chronograph represents the brand's entry into next-level horology with the introduction of Alpina's first ever in-house movement known as the Calibre AL-760 Automatic Chronograph movement. The Calibre AL-760 Automatic In-House Chronograph movement is comprised of 233 parts, biting at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Additional features include; a genuine sapphire crystal, stainless steel case, fixed bezel, black colored sunray finished dial with luminous silver-tone markers, telemeter markers around the dial's outer rim, luminescent hands and markers, date display at the 6 o'clock position, two sub dials displaying 60 seconds and 30 minutes and a beautifully Alpina engraved solid case back. The timepiece's seminally conceived and assembled in-house movement is not visible due to the solid case back, ergo included in the images of this timepiece is also one which shows the actual movement's appearance. This is a beautiful and hefty timepiece which has great wrist presence. I am the first and only owner of this rather difficult to find timepiece which has been worn on only very rare occasions and thus its condition is excellent. A new hand crafted genuine alligator strap has recently been placed on the watch and visually enhances this timepiece which exudes both luxury and traditional time keeping characteristics. The Alpina Alpiner 4 Flyback Chronograph watch originally commanded a MSRP of $5000.00 in the both the Asian and European watch markets as sold by Authorized Alpina Boutiques and similar retailers of premium luxury brands.
