All three are the 1855 editions published by Ticknor and Fields, Boston & printed by Hobart and Robbins, Boston. 8vo. Vol. 1 280 pages - Vol. 2 293 pages - Vol. 3 216 pages. -Each volume beautifully bound in full leather, spines with five raised bands and titles stamped in gilt. Dentelles and embossed decoration front and back to all three volumes. All edges gilt with colored marbled endpapers. Light edgewear with a few spots to the leather and corners are rubbed and bumped. Intermittent foxing and toning to a few pages and a gift inscription in ink to the front blank preliminary of each volume with the September 4th, 1855, date. Overall, a very nice early set that would look great in any collection.
