Push devices were originally fabricated with a matte slip-proof surface finish on the sides and back plate. This surface finish ages poorly, and most, if not all, Push 1 and Push 2 devices have some stickiness as a result of degradation of the finish. This particular Push 2 device has had the problematic surface finish completely removed - the back and sides of the unit are now shiny smooth ABS plastic. The branding, lettering, logos, and embossings were not affected by the removal of the finish.
