Sans brodart cover, the dust jacket is in very good + condition, price intact, with light wear to corner and edges. Top corner of front fly leaf has a light crease. Signed Robert Gates - Duty Memoirs of a Secretary at War (NY, Alfred A Knoph, 2014) - signed on the half title page by Robert Gates, former CIA director and SECDEF, with a short To inscription, a stated First Edition, first printing per convention in very good condition. Binding is straight and reasonably firm though not as tight as fine. Exterior boards are clean but top corners are bumped, less for rear top corner. Page ends are clean and bright. With illustrations, interior is fine - no names or marks. Sans archival cover, the dust jacket is priced and in fine condition. Signed Laura Bush - Spoken from the Heart (NY, Scribner, 2010). - Signed beautifully by former First Lady Laura Bush on the title page without inscription, with 1 in its print run, a first printing in very good + condition. Binding is square and reasonably firm, rear hinge tighter than front, with a flawless exterior. With photo illustrations, interior contents are fine with one minor flaw - a small surface abrasion to FFEP with a thin short brownish dash. Sans, brodart cover, the priced dust jacket is in fine condition. Signed Kellyanne Conway - Here's the Deal: a Memoir (NY, Threshold Editions, 2022) - signed “Kellyanne” on a publisher’s bookplate affixed to the FFEP, with 1 in its print run, a first printing in structurally near fine condition. Binding is square and quite firm with a flawless exterior save a little toning to page ends and a couple of small rub marks to top page ends. With photo illustrations, interior contents are fine. Sans brodart cover, the priced dust jacket is in fine condition with one tiny nick to the surface of the front panel. Signed Jehan Sadat (widow of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat) - My Hope For Peace (NY, Free Press, 2009) Signed by the author on the title page “With My Best Wishes” (not to anyone), with 1 in its print run, a first printing of the First American Edition in fine condition in a tight square binding. Exterior is flawless though top page ends are slightly toned. Interior is equally fine with no marks or names. Sans brodart cover, the dust jacket is priced and in near fine condition with no chips or tears but a wrinkle to rear panel. The opening bid for all five is $40.00 with a very reasonable buy it now.
