Description: These loquats aka Japanese Plums have been grown on our homestead for several decades. The original seedlings came from property that has been in our family for nearly a century. Although we have no idea where they came from originally, its been one of our family favorites to enjoy over the years. In our area, they bloom and produce fruit twice a year. Cold hardy and tough. Great for attracting pollinators. Makes delicious jams, jellies and teas. Has medicinal properties as well.
