The painting is full of joy and colour, with a pretty border of stylised leaves and flowers. Two peacocks are parading in the lower right corner. The painting is on cotton and has been laid to a wooden board with a thin raised wooden frame. On cotton laid to board. Condition There is light foxing over the lower half of the painting, particularly on the areas of darker paint. There is some wear to the areas of black paint. There are losses to the paint around the border, particularly at the top edge. There is dirtying and some watermarking to the border. The cotton is coming away from the board in the lower right hand corner.
