Description: This comic is part of a comic book collection, acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. The comics were for the most part, purchased from a comic book store. The Conan series was the initial reason for purchasing the comics. However, the comic storeowner asked if there was the interest in other comics and if she could put them aside for purchase. Thus, the collection grew. The comics have not been owned by anyone else and many have never been read. We are now selling these domestically through Ebay and hope that they will enhance someone's collection. The issue starts in the distthet past where the monolith instructs a hunter on how to craft a spear and then shifts to the future where two astronauts discover the alien ruin. One of the astronauts is killed by a creature, but the other, Woodrow Decker, is trthesported into a pastoral countryside by the monolith. Here he rapidly ages until he dies and is converted by the monolith into the embryo-type creature referred to as a 'new seed' to explore the galaxy.
