Description: Estate sale find. 2-pc. set of old metal Wisconsin DNR animal habitat, migration and various study tags. When found on a dead animal you could report its location and the DNR would ask you questions to add that info to its study group for what ever animals they tagged. Each tag has "WISCONSIN" and a study code # (these 2 are #HZ) with a numerical number following. Obviously these 2 tags were never used. Same principal as the metal bird tags found on the leg of a study bird. Great find. Talk about old school. Now everything has GPS with batteries. Sent in a bubble package with tracking.
