Description: Set of 2 Mimi Semmes Dann Art Pottery Candlestick Holders Blue Brown Signed Click images to enlarge Description This listing is for a set of two Candle holders, original pieces of Studio Art Pottery by Memphis TN Artist Mimi Semmes Dann (1927-2017). These candle holders are matching but not identical. Each has a glazed cobalt base with an unglazed, textured collar overhanging the base. Holders vary in height, one is 1.5 inch and has .5 inch collar and the other is 1.25 inch and has about .4 inch collar. Each is signed Mimi Dann on the bottom. Items are previously owned. I do not find any cracks or chips or other condition issues. Mimi Semmes Dann was a fourth generation Memphian. She attended the Memphis Academy of Arts. She was a recipient of numerous Awards and known for her unique Sculptures. Please view my pictures for features, details, contents and condition of this item.
