Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE... Purchased decades ago at the Paris Flea Market, four 19thc curtain rod or tapestry wall mount components from France. Made of thin sheet brass, the lot includes two end caps and two mounting rod brackets. You would use with your own metal rods or with wood poles. They have a rather ingenious mounting system. An iron spike would be driven into the wall or window frame with the bracket then secured on a threaded rod. The end caps have an opening that would accommodate your rod that measures 1 3/8ths inch across. Overall 2 1/2 inches wide, extending 2 inches from the end of the rod on each side. The brackets would protrude 3 inches from the wall or window frame with the end that would be flush to the wall or frame measuring 2 1/2 inches across. In used tarnished condition...... both end caps with dents. Each ring that holds the rod has one tiny fracture in the brass that is soo small they do not compromise their function. MUCH OBLIGED
