1980s Iconic Runway Bob Mackie Heavily Blue Beaded Designer Gown Rare Sample

Description: Selling a lovely Rare Bob Mackie black silk evening gown. This gown is heavily beaded with metallic blue bugle beads, along with silver metallic, clear rhinestones, and blue sequins. This Long sleeve gown is angled at the neck. Sleeves have zippers. It has an attached scarf for draping at the neck. Rounded back. Zipper is in the back of gown, and there are 2 side slits. A Bob Mackie in cursive label hand sewn into dress. Also another lower tag reads Bob Mackie Samples. Believe this to be a size 6 gown. Bust measures 34 inches. Waist size 28 inches, Hips measure 36 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 17 inches. One shoulder is lower due to angle of the gown. The sleeve with the angle measures 22 inches. The other shoulder is higher and is heavily decorated and that sleeve measures 25 inches in length. The dress measures 57 inches from shoulder to end of dress. There is a design of a greek or roman man on the back of the gown holding a bowl pouring water which flows gown the front of the dress. Hook on scarf shows discoloration. Two small areas of missing beads on back and near right hip. Easily repaired by seamstress. Dress weights 6 lbs. See all pictures.
