Description: SG guitars have a rich history in the annuals of rock n roll - first finding fame with Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi and Angus Young before various grunge bands started using them in the 1990s. This particular guitar is the original Gibson "The SG" electric guitar, made in the USA. Manufactured in 1979, this guitar preempted Gibson's "Firebrand" line. It has the classic Solid Walnut body, a rounded neck and an Ebony fretboard. It has Pearl Dot inlays and Grover Tuners. The bridge pick-ups are the original T Tops. The action has been set quite low, so coupled with its relatively light weight, this classic guitar really is a joy to play. I'm selling this beauty quite reluctantly, so buy it now before I change my mind! It comes with its original Gibson hard case. CONDITION PLEASE READ: This guitar is in very good condition. Electrics, knobs, switches all work fine. It has some signs of wear, odd dinks here and there, but overall it is in great shape. It could do with a clean/dust around the pick-ups / bridge. You'll need to remove the strings to do this properly. The case shows definite signs of wear / use, but is solid and completely functional. Examine all the pictures closely.
