Museum of Devils (Lithuania, Kaunas) - “A thousand devils” and more, collected in a relatively small but interesting museum. "The devil carries a stone Puntukas" R. Kaunialis The Puntukas boulder is an erratic boulder, a natural monument. The second largest natural stone in Lithuania. A number of legends are associated with the stone. According to one of them, the devil (velnias in Lithuanian mythology) was carrying this giant stone to throw it at Anyksciai Church. However, the rooster crowed, and the devil disappeared into the underworld, dropping the stone. According to another legend, the brave Lithuanian warrior Puntukas, who died, was burned on a stone, according to the customs of the pagans. Since then the boulder has been known as the Puntukas stone. Perhaps the stone was a pagan sanctuary, and the oak trees around it are relics of sacred groves.
