Description: 1966 James T. Elder Postcard -#350 EDDIE O'BRIEN (Pirates) *Autographed* d.2014. From a series of RPPC's produced by collector/photographer James T. Elder featuring current & past baseball stars. This is one of the first examples of a "Collector's Issue" as these postcards were largely marketed to early hobbyists for their collections, also with the purpose of potentially acquiring autographs. They are normally found with a large stamped # on back (as this one does). These are always found on slightly textured/silvered Kodak postcard paper. Elder would produce a series of 1,400 different numbered postcards! This example has an authentic autograph on front. Please see scans for condition.
