Description: 1959 chevrolet corvette convertible bare fiberglass body. listing is for the following items only. 59 original bare fiberglass body with 2 bare doors, 4 metal door hinges, convertible deck lid, 2 metal deck lid hinges and the complete original windshield frame. NO OTHER ITEMS ARE INCLUDED. this almost perfect original GM body has been stripped of all original paint revealing its original GM fiberglass body panels. firewall, floors, rear bulkhead and trunk are excellent. metal A pillar frame work is excellent. some fiberglass repair on the drivers side front forward inner fender. repaired properly many years ago. doors are straight and solid. some minor repair to wheel well lips but all original lips are intact. appears that a 20 inch section of the rear trunk lip was replaced with a press molded panel. some very minor repair in areas and every thing can be seen in the pictures. we purchased this body from the original owners estate. the family lost the GM vin tag but did provide us with the clean and clear virginia title. title is dated 1993, the same year they moved to virginia from new jersey. also included with the sale is the original 1959 GM dealers invoice. this is a perfect body for an ultra high end restomod. NO VIN TAG, clear virginia title. if buyer would like to restore this one owner vette the original rolling frame, wheels and hub caps and original base 283 matching number motor can be purchased for an additional 7k. immediate 500.00 deposit required at time of sale. failure to pay the deposit will result in cancelation. balance must be paid within 7 days of listings end and must be picked up in va beach va. thanks for looking.
