The nickel silver plate keys are polished to like new condition and the entire instrument has been professionally overhauled by a nationally recognized repair factory. The highest quality pads, springs and cork have been applied. The main body and barrel have no cracks and a tight grain is evident. The bell has a tight crack that did not require pinning. Included with the instrument is an original Selmer mouthpiece. Also a nice, durable, spring clasp case is included. The Selmer Paris Centered Tone Clarinet is one of the most well known clarinets in the company’s long history. Known for its aptly named “centered tone”, these clarinets were the result of 100 years of expertise in clarinet manufacturing. The Selmer Centered Tone is commonly thought of as a “Jazz” clarinet due to the most famous player to support the line, Benny Goodman.
