Also laid in is a letter from the office of Omar Bradley referring to a copy of 'A Soldier's Story'. We assume the addressee and addressor were friends / associates of Bradley & Workman. A fine and well provenanced copy of Bradley's best known work documenting his historic career. Please compare our copy with other authentic, inscribed examples. Provenance: From the Family collection of William Henry Workman (1839 - 1918) two term Mayor of Los Angeles, banker, & pioneer settler of the Los Angeles & Boyle Heights area. We acquired some 300 volumes from the Estate of David J. Workman (1930 - 2020) who was a Los Angeles Judge and functioned as the Workman family historian.
