Description: It always amazes me how ONE SINGLE PIECE OF PAPER can survive more than 100 years INTACT! This Estate find, discovered with other miscellaneous vintage 'paper' is dated December 9th, 1918 and is addressed to a Commanding Officer at Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky. The writer promises to return the following list of Government property within (4) months from the date of his discharge. The (9) items include: 1 Flannel shirt; 1 coat & service ornaments; 1 pair of breeches (*trousers extending to the knee or just below), 1 pair shoes; 1 hat and hat cord; 1 overcoat; 1 pair leggings; 1 slicker and 1 belt.
