Description: 1904 Sporting Life Magazine Denton “Cy” Young Portrait on Cover Boston Red Sox Rare. Original and very rare 1904 Sporting Life with a famous portrait image of Denton Cy Young when he was with the Boston Red Sox. The entire magazine is complete and included in the sale; but only the first page with Young has been framed. Dimensions of the frame are 12.5 inches x 15.5", and the Young front page measures approximately 10" x 14". These don't come up often because there aren't many out there. The vintage magazine is in overall good condition for almost 125 years old but does have common wear throughout, in addition to trimmed left border from being in a bound volume at the National Baseball HOF in Cooperstown for many years. The framed Young page looks incredible and would be a great addition to any Cy Young or Boston Red Sox collection. I will carefully ship the framed piece with protective tape and bubble wrap around the glass; and the rest of the magazine will be included in a separate folder also carefully packaged.
