Description: This is a pair of antique 19th century Victorian beehive and diamond pattern, brass candlesticks with the original pushers. Each carries an English registry number that dates the pair to 1893-1894. Each weighs 1# 4ozs. That’s over 2 pounds of solid brass. Markings: stamped on the side of each base with England Rd. 223580 Measurements: each is 10-3/4” tall. The bases are 3-3/4” square. Condition: there is a bit of candle wax inside each candlestick, I have not tried to use the push up bars for fear of damaging them (plus the wax is a bit of an impediment), the top dishes (for catching wax drips) are slightly bent and one has some tiny rim dents, the base of one has a crack that is likely a manufacturing issue. Polished but the brass is not too bright or glaring. V332
