Coin was R5 in Penny Whimsy but the rarity level has dropped since that date. In 2003 Noyes quotes the finest coin is listed as low EF. A scarce 1800 variety without any coin AU or Unc. Most likely in the current census! Of the VF examples from major collections the Reynolds example leads the group with a price of almost $7500. The Ullian, Heard and Husak coins are in the $3,000 to $5000 range. This example priced reasonably compared to the other pieces. Earlier die state with a die break at ED on the reverse at 9 o'clock. A cud is just starting to form over F. Minted when John Adams was president.
