This card is from the '84 set. The card measures the modern standard of 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" and features a full-color artist's rendition of the subject. The back carries the player's vital statistics and his vital statistics: the baseball ones - along with a brief synopsis of his career! The subject is a longtime member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Artist for the original painting from which this card was taken was Doug West whose work hangs in various sports halls of fame, offices of teams and countless private collections, both domestic and international.
